Pitt Dietrich Arts and Science Waitlisted With Guaranteed January Admission

The Department of Advice Science and Disorders offers an undergraduate major in Advice Science. The caste program focuses on the anatomical, physiological, and psychological foundations of advice, as well as, the bones construction of language and the process of spoken language and language development. The degree programme is also designed to develop critical thinking skills, including the ability to evaluate scientific data.

This major is especially advisable for students because graduate report and a career in Audiology or Spoken language-Language Pathology. Admission Requirements

SHRS is updating our Full general Education requirements. Additional Requirements

Complete the application for admission. SHRS is moving to a new awarding platform. Please visit the SHRS website to access data about applying.
Minimum cumulative GPA of two.75 (based on 4.0) is required for admission. Students with a lower GPA may exist admitted provisionally.

University of Pittsburgh Freshman Guarantee

Communication Science Curriculum

SHRS requires a minimum of 120 credits for graduation.

Core Curriculum Requirements (47 credits)

Nigh of the core courses in Communication Science degree program are taken later admission at the junior year level. 4 of the core courses are available at the freshman and sophomore yr level or tin exist completed as office of the Advice Science degree plan at the junior twelvemonth level.
